October Events

This Saturday, October 16, we are coordinating with Historic Yellow Springs to celebrate the fall season. As part of their Hands-On Clay Day that afternoon from 1PM to 4PM, we are offering a special Harvest Story Time @ 2PM for children between the ages of 2 and 6. Then at 3PM we’ll be hosting a Poetry Reading with poet Aaren Perry. Come for the afternoon and visit all of the venues, including the Chester Springs Studio Faculty Exhibition, the Pots at Work exhibit, multiple artist demonstrations, hands-on crafts and ceramics, and more!

On Saturday, October 23 @ 10AM, the library will host local author Susan Weidener as she presents a program entitled, “Memoir is your Legacy,” and reads from her book, Again in a Heartbeat.

The Friends of the Chester Springs Library are presenting “A Whisky Tasting Fund Raising Event,” October 23rd @ 7PM. This event will feature internationally aclaimed Master of Whisky, Riannon Walsh.
